It’s my Birthday!

It’s my birthday today! I treated myself on this awesome Fjällräven Kånken backpack which I’m going to enjoy using during our visit to Efteling, a typical dutch theme park.

Which means it’s time for some cake. Feel free to take a piece of this digital cake and let me know how it was. Enjoy!

Frustrations | Mindstyle

I have come to realise that I mostly enjoy drawing illustrations with a deeper meaning or to tell a story. So when I felt frustrated I decided to let it all out in this drawing. I like to use soft pastel colours to make it all a bit lighter.

The girl with the crazy hair makes me smile everytime I see this illustration. It deserves it’s own story, don’t you think?

Packing! | Creative

I love travelling.  I’ve visited my fair share of destinations and I’m planning to add some more to the list. There’s no need to always travel far for gaining new experiences. We enjoy visiting the beautiful island Texel as much as I do visiting Australia.

I’m fascinated by people who pack very minimalistic for their travels. Youtube is my best friend on this topic. There are a lot of videos made about it. Megan is in my opinion the best in minimalistic packing.

So, I like packing and I like drawing. For my latest travel to Texel (The Netherlands) I made a drawing of the things I packed. Much more fun than making a list!
